Vacuum forming is the process of heating plastic sheet to just below melting point and then pulling it onto a forming tool by vacuum suction, moulding the sheet to the profile of the tool. The plastic is then cooled and the tool removed to leave the plastic set in the required shape.
At Plastec Formers we can handle small quantities to assist in developing new products and ideas, we are also able to handle large quantities when cost effective solutions are required.
Our capabilities include: Sign pans, trays, domes, individual letters, sign cases, components, and curved panels.
